Prize presentation for excellence and best students in primary schools nationwide.

In recognition of their hard work, 210 primary school students were awarded with prizes during a prize presentation for excellence and best students in primary schools nationwide at the International Convention Centre (ICC).

Presenting the prizes were the guest of honour, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Datin Paduka Dayang Apsah binti Hj Abdul Majid.

Awang Hj Mohammed bin Jambul, Acting Senior Duties Officer of Private Education Division, in his welcoming remark said, "The ceremony served as a motivation and encouragement to students in primary level so that they will be committed to continue progressing in the field of education and develop to be a positive student.

"Indirectly, the project is also hoped to provide positive impact on teachers who also act as guardians that develop our children towards excellence in education."

In selecting the excellence and best students, he said, "Assessment is based on a number of criteria namely achievement in academic, involvement in co-curriculum activities in school as well as country or at regional and international levels. Other criteria include attendance, behaviour and leadership quality."

Big Congratulation to our very own student Mohd Rosyiq Daniel Bin Hj Roslani (son of our Headmistress, Hjh Salwati Bte Hj Md Sulaiman) for the big achievement of being the #1 Pelajar Terbaik bagi Tahun 3 bagi Sekolah-Sekolah Rendah Brunei I.
